Happy Mother’s Day!

This is a post I shared in 2016 and wanted to share again for all the mothers out there. Last year I had some flowers to share but not this year. I look forward to another lovely brunch at my son and daughter-in-law’s house.  Hope you mothers have a wonderful Mother’s Day! May God bless you all!

Happy Mother’s Day!

A special ‘thank you’ to my son, daughter-in-law, daughter, son-in-law and all five of the grandchildren for the lovely gifts. To my daughter-in-law for the amazing and delicious luncheon and beautiful silver/pearl bracelet from her and my son and family and for the lovely bracelets and the gorgeous hydrangeas below from my daughter and her family. We had a wonderful day together! I certainly felt the love! Love you all so much!! xo

My dear mother is no longer with us. I can’t believe she has been gone since 2004.

She was loved by my siblings and me and will be missed forever more.

She was loving and caring and always there for me.

She always made me feel safe and loved.

She told me, when I grew up, that I could be whatever I wanted to be.

When I got sick she would place her soft hands on my forehead.

She fed me soup and insisted I rest in bed.

I only wished she could have seen me publish all my books.

I knew she would be happy and proud.

Her face would carry a smile and a surprised look.

Each time I have something important to share

I wish she was still here.

I think life is too short and that isn’t fair.

One day we will meet again I do not fear.

I know she is looking down from above.

I pray each day that she feels my love.

I love you MOM!

Here are some flowers for mothers everywhere to enjoy!
