This award-winning series is full of fun adventures and good family values. The twins show respect to their parents and each other.  This series is an excellent example for children to follow. Being a grandparent and an avid reader I am always on the lookout for good clean books for my grandkids. Davey and Derek’s Aunt and Uncle settle in town after years of worldly travel, but there is something different about the Aunt that sets her apart from most Aunts – she is a good witch blessed with the gift of magic – one of which is her long deceased cat whoes aura lives on in a crystal ball and still tries to help people. Davey and Derek learn they to have a few magical powers of their own one of which is the cat trying to communicate with them and warn them one of their friends is going to get into serious trouble. The question is can they use this magic and prevent a catastrophy? Cute story – clean- refreshing – and not preachy. The Case of the Mysterious Black Cat will keep a young mind intrigued and reading way past their bedtime.

Davey Donato (1st. born) & Derek Donato are twins,
The 2 love to spend time with their Great Aunt Gigi. What secrets does she reveal later to the 2 boys? Will the 2 twins & Mianna solve the mystery disappearance of Jenny Catonni (daughter/sister)?What does TT represent?Shout out to John Spina like to see more colored & detailed pictures for the kiddos. The only thing I see wrong with this book is you need to get a new publisher. There were huge spaces/gaps in between words on several pages.I did not receive any type of compensation for reading & reviewing this book. While I receive free books from publishers & authors, I am under no obligation to write a positive review. Only an honest one.A very awesome book cover, great font & writing style. A very well written children’s mystery book. It was very easy for me to read/follow from start/finish & never a dull moment. There were no grammar/typo errors, nor any repetitive or out of line sequence sentences. Lots of exciting scenarios, with several twists/turns & a great set of unique characters to keep track of. This could also make another great children’s movie, animated cartoon, mini TV series or documentary. There is no doubt in my mind this is a very easy rating of 5 stars.Thank you for the free Goodreads; MakingConnections; Jems Books; paperback book
