Spring has finally sprung!!

An azalea beginning to bloom

HAPPY SPRING!!

Well, it looks as if spring has finally sprung in New Hampshire, USA! We have had a lot of rainy and cloudy days and it was time for a warmer sunnier day today. My husband and I took our 2-3 mile walk and enjoyed the beautiful weather.

Here are some pics of the first signs of spring in my yard.

An azalea bud up close and personal

Red forest pansy in the circle we tend on our street

This tree above has beautiful red blossoms beginning to open and it will eventually have dark red leaves.

Ash tree showing off its growth

This tree was given to us from an online service and it was only a large toothpick when we planted it ten years ago. It grew by leaps and bounds each year and now is quite impressive.

Beginning signs of a yellow day lily

This lily will be full of flowers when it finally reaches it full height.

Visitors in one of our birdhouses

If you look closely at this little birdhouse you will notice there are some twigs sticking out at the bottom. A sure sign that we have some baby birds in there nesting. We actually see little birds being fed by their mother on our deck. They come up once they can fly and sit on our railings and wait to be fed by their mothers. So sweet!

Three more bird houses for rent – still available but not for long!

My rose bush is coming back slowly.

This bush will be magnificent when it is in full bloom with its prolific red blossoms.  I will be sure to share some pics of its beauty in the summer.

Hammock is up on the deck and the furniture is cleaned and ready!

Let the grilling begin!! I am ready for the lazy, hazy, crazy days of summer!

Well, that’s all for now. Hope you are having a wonderful spring or whatever season you are in around the world.

Blessings & hugs!

Janice
