I enjoy writing in different genres and for all ages. If you have read any of Jemsbooks you know what I mean. I have eight children’s books (a new one coming this year), four books in a series for MG/YA (Middle-Grade/Young Adult) (Book 5 coming soon), and two novels for 18+.

The new book coming is a short story collection. It’s an eclectic mix of genres – romance, drama, mystery, suspense, grief/loss, horror, fantasy, and sci-fi. I write and enjoy reading in all these genres except horror. It frightens me and causes nightmares. I only added one mild horror in this genre; that is all I could take. Essentially, there is something for everyone.

I am in the final stages of editing this book after my beta readers read and commented. I was pleased with their comments and suggestions and overall feeling about the stories.

This book is dedicated to a dear friend, Anne Gillis Benedetto, who passed this year in January. She was a lovely woman, with a quick wit, contagious laugh, positive outlook, and kind heart. She spread her joy around to all and was loved by all. The first story in this collection is dedicated to Anne. I was fortunate enough to send her a copy of this story before she died. Anne said she loved it and was honored to have this book dedicated to her. The title is a dedication to her memory, An Angel Among Us. Anne truly was an angel among us.

Please keep a lookout for this book. If you knew Anne, I would love to hear from you on my contact page or by email (jjspina(at)myfairpoint(dot)net) regarding your thoughts about Anne and the story. This book will be available on my Amazon author page and Barnes & Noble and Create Space soon.

Well, got to back to editing. The publishing process takes a little while to complete with downloading and reviewing finished book and cover. Then onto Kindle to publish there. There is pesky paperwork everywhere no matter what you do.

Stay tuned for updates on this book and others coming out this year. I have already started writing Book 5 of the Davey & Derek Junior Detectives Series about a ghost. If you haven’t purchased Books 1-4 you can buy them here Amazon, Barnes & Noble. All Jemsbooks can be purchased at these two sites or other online stores. Walmart carries chidren’s book, Sebastian Meets Marvin the Monkey. All eight children’s books and four MG/YA books are also available at Second Peek Children’s Boutique in Manchester, NH, USA.

Please read to your children daily for quality time with them and plenty of hugs and snuggles. Remember: READING GIVES YOU WINGS TO FLY! SOAR WITH JEMSBOOKS TODAY!

Thanks for stopping by today. Always a pleasure to see you! I accept reviews gratefully!

Blessings & hugs!

I want this toy with the first snowdrops and the first swallows natural regeneration proclaiming to be a symbol of the growth of our souls. If this spring to bring you a new hope and peace in soul, tenderness and love, power and accomplishments.

It’s truly a wonderful collection. I don’t read horror either, and you are right – it was mild and I can’t imagine any adult not being able to read it.
