It is with the greatest pleasure that I share my books with you. Writing is a pure joy for me. I don’t always have time to write every day on my latest book but I do spend time blogging, or online social links and promotions and answering hundreds of emails.
Let me tell you a little about myself. I am a wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin, writer, author, copy editor, reader, book reviewer, and friend and supporter of fellow authors. I wear many hats and enjoy singing, crocheting, book signings, meeting and greeting new readers of Jemsbooks, and spending time with my husband and family, traveling, walking for exercise and writing as much as I can. I dedicate my books to my grandkids and other children I meet along the way.
If you are anything like me I am a bibliophile. I love words! I love the smell and feel of new books ever since I could read. Nowadays I do most of my reading for convenience on my Nook, phone or IPad. It isn’t the same because I can’t feel or smell the book or appreciate the beautiful covers. I hope you get to see my colorful books and share them with your children so that they, too, will become lovers of words.
I welcome input or questions from readers and LOVE reviews. I share reviews on my website and blog too! If you send me a photo of youself with one of my books and a link to your review I will post it on my blog and share it with my many followers.
Being an author is a daily business that must be cultivated. Each of these authors works tirelessly to create wonderful books of different genres. Please be kind and leave reviews! We authors will love you for it!

Synopses of Davey & Derek Series:
Davey & Derek Junior Detectives is Book 1 of a series of mysteries and adventures. Davey and Derek Donato are twins who love to play detective. Find out what they do to solve the case of the missing cell phone.
Book 2 – Davey and Derek Donato are twins but not identical. They gleaned the idea to be detectives from a book their parents bought them on their tenth birthday. The twins discover a black cat and some magic when they visit with their Great Aunt Gigi. The cat tries to communicate with the boys. But what does the cat want to tell them?
Introduction to Davey & Derek Series as seen in Book 2:
Davey and Derek Donato are twins but not identical. They each have their own distinct talents and are junior detectives by their own design. They live in the quiet town of Lindon, New Hampshire where nothing much happens, which is the reason why the boys look for adventures. They gleaned the idea to be detectives from a book their parents bought them for their tenth birthday on July 15th.
Davey with black hair and green eyes is the older twin by three minutes and teases his brother all the time about being the baby brother. He is an intellectual and is very patient and observant. Davey has an incredible skill where anything he reads he can commit to memory. This is extremely helpful when he has to help Derek who hasn’t done the required reading for school ahead of time. Davey also likes to take things apart in order to find out how they work.
Derek with light brown hair and green eyes, on the other hand, is a thinker and somewhat of a dreamer. He thinks things through and likes to be in control and see things running smoothly. He excels in writing, math and problem solving. He does have an aptitude for getting into all kinds of trouble all by himself. Trouble, unfortunately, seems to follow him but luckily for him Davey always backs him up.
The boys also have a friend, Mickey Catonni, aka Cat, with wiry red hair, who helped the boys in their first case, The Case of the Missing Cell Phone. Mickey is a cool kind of kid who knows how to communicate by signing. He has a fun personality, great sense of humor and gets along well with others. Mickey has a little sister, Jenny, who is hearing impaired. Knowing sign language helps Mickey to talk with Jenny.
Watch for books 3 & 4 in 2016 and more children’s books and novels for all ages!
