Smorgasbord - Variety is the spice of life


The definition of the word interaction; is a mutual or reciprocal action or influence. Certainly it is also true that no man or woman is an island and that without human (or pet) interaction we would be a very lonely and sad bunch of people.

Writers in particular need interaction with people and surroundings to spark off creativity. You cannot create complex characters or a plot for a story, if you have only existed within a sterile environment.

In my experience as a blogger I have found friendship, collaboration so important and the interaction with others who have visited, is just as valuable. It is so easy to begin to feel that you are writing in isolation and that nobody is actually reading your work.
