Broose the Moose on the Loose Goes to Moose Hill School!

NewspaperBroose

imageRecently I brought 31 books (1 for the shelf and 30 for the children) of Broose the Moose on the Loose to the Moose Hill School in Londonderry, NH. The school has a large shelf with all kinds of moose paraphernalia. I had visited the school last summer when I had to pick up my grandson who was attending a summer camp there. I admired the beautiful shelf and asked my two middle grandsons who had both attended the school at one time if they thought I should write a book about a moose. They both responded, “Yes!”

Well, I had a goal and worked over the summer and through the fall to get the book just right for the children and the school. When it was published I called the Moose Hill School and told them that I had written a book that was dedicated to the school and my two grandsons. They were happy to hear this and made a date with me and the local newspaper, The Londonderry Times, to visit the school for the presentation. My husband and I picked up my two grandsons and we headed over to Moose Hill School. It was a pleasure to meet and greet all the teachers and Mrs. Breithhaupt, Kindergarten Coordinator. They were very gracious welcoming us into their school and Broose onto the shelf.

Our photo was taken and Broose the Moose on the Loose happily joined the moose shelf on Wednesday, March 25, 2015 with a wide smile on his face. We all left with smiles on our faces knowing that 30 books of Broose the Moose on the Loose had found a home with the kindergarten class of the Moose Hill School.
